Sarine’s Beauty Salon began with a brave decision made by Sara, an Ecuadorian immigrant who spent years working in New York’s Diamond District—saving, hustling, and dreaming of something more. When the opportunity to purchase a small salon arose, she said yes on instinct, believing deeply in her ability to build something meaningful.

Shortly after buying the business, Sara made another bold choice: she enrolled in cosmetology school while in her 50s and graduated in 2012. Her dedication proved that it’s never too late to learn a new skill, change your path, or chase a passion. Her commitment, skill, and warmth transformed the salon into a trusted beauty home for the South Ozone Park community for over 15 years.

Sara’s daughter, Amanda, has since joined the business, bringing fresh vision, modern enhancements, and a dedication to continuing what her mother built from the ground up.
