To our amazing guests, we just wanted to thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. The health and safety of our guests, staff and community are of the utmost importance, which is why we have been hard at work in preparation for our reopening on June 22nd.

We know our guests expect the highest standards at Sarine's Beauty Salon Inc. and we are committed to meeting those standards. We believe that the safest way to confront this virus is to treat everyone as if they could be infected to ensure that Sarine's Beauty Salon meets these standards. Our NY State DoH has provided guidelines for hair and nail salons, which you can see in the link below.

Our goal is to go beyond what is recommended. Please read some of the new regulations implemented to provide see how we aim to meet those standards during this challenging time. 

​

· No more than 10 people will be allowed in the salon at any one time.

​

· Customers must come alone to their appointment. Bringing another person who does not have an appointment will go against our goal to limit the number of people at our establishment. 

​

· Cellphone use will be limited to lessen the spread of contamination. 

​

· Customers must come at least 5 minutes before appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork (ie. Customer Health Questionnaire, as provided by the USA Beauty Salon Owner's Association)

 

· Customers that come prior to their appointment will have to wait outside or in their car if there is a long wait time or if there are close to 10 people in the establishment.

· We have set up an entry station for sanitation & communication upon arrival.

​

· Treating everyone, including staff, as if they could be infected.

​

· Each area, all tools, stations and equipment will be sanitized and/or disinfected between each client.

​

· Masks will be mandatory. Do not remove your mask during your visit.

​

· No sample products or testers will be available.

​

· All staff have updated certification on Sanitation protocols via Barbacide ™ and OSHA.gov.

​

·Temporarily suspending all complimentary services; NO rituals, NO hand massage, NO neck massage, NO beverages.

 

·Please understand that all prices will go up to cover the cost of cleaning and disinfection of all materials. 

​

· Prices are in accordance with the USA Beauty Salon Owner's Association recommendation and guidelines as to avoid price surge while covering costs of disinfection and cleaning. 

  

· Cancellation/no-show policy- There will now be a cancellation fee for those who cancel or no-show their appointment less than five hours before their appointment. We believe that this will give you enough time to determine whether you can make it to your appointment or not, so we ask you to respect the time of our staff and guests.

· Late policy - Guests must be on time to their appointment. If a guest does not show up for the first 15 minutes of the appointment, then we have no choice but to cancel the appointment.  

 

· Rest assured, we hope to get back to a new normal and offering many of the added value services and extras you have come to enjoy.

​

· These protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed and will keep you informed every step of the way.

​

· Confirming your appointment- if you do not confirm 24hrs prior to your appointment you will lose your appointment. Please understand we have many clients waiting to get in to see us.
